Conventional Braces, Invisalign, & Brius (Orthodontics)
What are conventional braces?
It’s imperative for general dentists to do regular checkups to to evaluate your child’s mixed dentition (baby and adult teeth) and occlusion. We sometimes recommend Appliance Therapy for younger children to avoid braces in the futures.
Conventional braces use metal or ceramic brackets that are bonded to the front of each tooth. They are anchored together with an archwire which is designed with shape memory to apply gentle pressure throughout the duration of your treatment.
Conventional braces are suitable for teenagers and adults. We will provide you with all the information you need for cleaning and care of your conventional braces.

What is Invisalign?
Invisalign aligners are clear aligners that you wear on your teeth for 1-2 weeks before moving to a new aligner. They are suited for some but not all types of cases, depending on complexity. You will receive instructions on how to use your aligners and how to clean them properly at the clinic.
